ADVISORY GROUP

Introduction

The European Association of Pharmacy Technicians (EAPT) was established in 2011 having previously been known as the Committee of European Pharmacy Technicians (CEPT) which was established in 1997. During this time there have been several different Boards. The people who have been part of these Boards have much knowledge and experience relating to the EAPT. The EAPT feel it is vitally important to maintain a relationship with previous Board members to prevent the loss of this knowledge and experience. At the AGM in May 2023, it was agreed, to establish an Advisory Group made up of previous EAPT Board members.

Purpose and role of the advisory group

The broad purpose of the group is to ensure the knowledge and experience of our past board members are available to the current Board when needed. The role of the group is to give their opinion to the EAPT Board, when invited to do so, on issues that affect the EAPT and act like a bridge over time.

Goals and Objectives

Goal 1: To ensure knowledge and experience of past senior Board members are available to the current EAPT Board.
Goal 2: To help futureproof the EAPT.

Objective 1: To offer a point of view when invited to do so by the EAPT Board.
Objective 2: To assist the EAPT Board with specific tasks if, and when required.
